- How long does it take to bring Webpass to my building?
-
Typically it takes 30-60 days once the ROE (Right of Entry) is signed by the Owner or HOA.
These are the 3 steps to bring our network to your building.1. Schedule A Site Survey
A Webpass representative will come to your site and determine if we can add your property to our network. Webpass will need access to the roof of the property, the telephone riser pathway, and a typical telecom closet. The entire process takes about 45 minutes and you will get a technical yes or no answer before the Webpass representative leaves the property. Call 415-233-4100 or email sales@web-pass.com to schedule a survey.2. Obtain Right of Entry
The property owner or manager must sign a Webpass Right of Entry (ROE) to allow Webpass to install our system at the property. The ROE is a one simple one page document which you can download here.3. Install Webpass Equipment
Webpass will schedule the equipment installation with the property manager. Typically installation takes a few days of work inside the property. Webpass will install a new radio on the roof , data cables from the antenna to the top floor telecom closet, and Ethernet equipment in the top floor telecom closet, and a data cable from our equipment to your suite. The work is limited to these areas and will not disturb other tenants in the property. - My building is less that 15 years old but I have less than 20 units. Can you make an exception?

-
Technology is constantly changing, but currently you will get the best wireless performance with a “N” standard wireless router.

Webpass does not use modems like DSL or cable based Internet services. To connect to the Internet simply plug your computer to the data jack in your unit with an Ethernet Cable.
