All Webpass Internet customers must adhere to the following acceptable use policy when connecting to the Webpass network.

Mail servers designed specifically for the distribution of spam may not be connected to the Webpass network. Any computer on the Webpass network that is infected with spamming software and distributes spam, even without the Owner’s knowledge or consent, may be disconnected from the Webpass network at Webpass’ discretion.

Computers designed specifically for the distribution of viruses or other malicious code may not be connected to the Webpass network. Any computer on the Webpass network that is infected with malicious code and distributes malicious software, even without the Owner’s knowledge or consent, may be disconnected from the Webpass network at Webpass’ discretion.

Computers actively engaged in illegal file sharing operations may not be connected to the Webpass network. Any computer on the Webpass network that is infected with illegal file sharing software and distributes copyrighted materials, even without the Owner’s knowledge or consent, may be disconnected from the Webpass network at Webpass’ discretion.

Residential Service is designed for personal use for 8 hours a day for general Internet use including streaming, web surfing, e-mail access, and all other possible online activities. Residential customers are not allowed to host public servers of any kind, use static IPv4 IP addresses (static IPv6 addresses are acceptable), or consume more bandwidth than required to support typical residential Internet activities. Webpass will disconnect or throttle the bandwidth for residential customers who use residential service for activities deemed atypical at Webpass' discretion.

Standard Business Service is designed for commercial use 24 hours a day for general Internet use including streaming, web surfing, e-mail access, and all other possible online activities. Standard business customers are allowed to host public servers, use static IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, and consume bandwidth up to the transfer limit at no additional charge. Bandwidth consumption above and beyond the transfer limit is an additional charge. Connection speeds for standard business customers are not guaranteed and will fluctuate based on network demand.

Premium Business Service is designed for commercial use 24 hours a day for general Internet use including streaming, web surfing, e-mail access, and all other possible online activities. Premium business customers are allowed to host public servers, use static IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, and consume unlimited bandwidth. Connection speeds for premium business customers are guaranteed and will not fluctuate.

Webpass' Acceptable Use Policy may change without notice. All changes will be published on webpass.net before taking effect.
